The challenge

Antikguldsmeden does specialized work — antique and heirloom jewelry restoration — and depends entirely on local clients trusting the craft. The previous online presence was minimal. People searching for restoration services in Denmark weren't finding them, and there was no visual portfolio to demonstrate the quality of the restoration work. The owner needed a site that conveyed care and expertise, plus a way to surface real restoration work to potential clients on social media.

The approach

We built a custom Next.js portfolio site focused on the craft — clear photography, restoration before/afters, contact paths, and a story that conveyed decades of expertise. Technical SEO and GEO went in from day 1: structured data, sitemap, hreflang, GDPR-compliant cookie banner. Beyond the website, we set up the Antikguldsmeden Instagram account from scratch and helped establish a consistent posting cadence around restoration work and shop updates.

The outcome

First 30 days post-launch: 300+ unique users, 940+ page views — meaningful traffic for a niche local craft business.
